PARKADE & STREET PARKING:

Free parking is available within a few blocks of Riverfront Park, either in Parkades (parking garages), or on the street, although on Saturday parking may be difficult to find during the business day. On Sunday, many of the businesses are closed, therefore, more parking is available for Riverfront Park visitors.

DIRECTIONS from I-5:

1. I-5 to the Market St interchange (exit 256)... Exit here,

2. Turn WEST and drive about a 1 3/4 miles to Summer St NE

3. At the SUMMER St traffic light, Turn LEFT (south). FYI - Capitol St precedes Summer St

4. Drive about one mile south on Summer St - use the RIGHT LANE.

5. At MARION St., Turn RIGHT. FYI - Union St is the preceding intersection.

Now you have a choice of Parkades, the first you will come to is the Marion Parkade, which is the furthest from Riverfront Park (5 blocks away).

MARION PARKADE: After turning onto Marion St (direction #5), drive about 5 blocks and TURN RIGHT onto Liberty St, and then turn into the Parkade. An elevator and stairwell are on the south side, mid-structure. After parking, walk south 3 blocks to Court St, then two blocks west to the World Beat Festival's main entrance.

CHEMEKETA PARKADE: After turning onto Marion St (direction #5), drive 6 blocks, and position yourself in the left lane. TURN LEFT onto the one-way Commercial St NE (if you do not turn, you will go over the Willamette River). Stay in the left center lane, and go through the Center St intersection. The entrance to Chemeketa Parkade is mid-block on your left. An elevator and stairwell are on the east side, mid-structure. After parking, walk 1 1/2 blocks south to Court St, then one block west and you are at the main entrance to the Festival !

LIBERTY PARKADE: This has limited public parking, and some tight parking spaces. This parkade is about 3 blocks south of the Chemeketa Parade, and some of the directions are repeated from above. After turning onto Marion St (direction #5), drive 6 blocks, and position yourself in the left lane. TURN LEFT onto the one-way Commercial St NE (if you do not turn, you will go over the Willamette River). Stay in the left center lane, and continue south. (The next directions just take you around the block so you are heading north on one-way Liberty St.) TURN LEFT onto TRADE St. (which is preceded by Ferry St), go one block, TURN LEFT onto one-way Liberty St. Move into the left-center lane, then TURN LEFT into the far right lane of Ferry St., and immediately look for the Parkade entrance on your right. An elevator and stairwell are in the NE corner of the structure. After parking, walk north 1/2 block to St.

PRINGLE PARKADE: This has metered parking on Saturdays, but is free on Sundays. It's bit more of a walk than the other parkades, but isn't bad. It is located on the corner of High and Trade Street.
